Course Readings

The rules for Hearts are fairly straightforward but I would recommend reading up on the strategy and playing with the simulator before coming to class.

Catan is a rather straightforward game but has many rules. Make sure you read the rules and are familiar with the board layout as it can get quite complicated.

Coup has rather simple rules but the difficulty in understanding the rules lies in how to handle each individual scenario.

Codenames has straightforward rules but can get very difficult for both spymasters and field operatives.

Avalon may be one of the most difficult games we are playing this semester. Make sure you understand all of the character roles and read up on strategy as well.
